the prominent Iranian
writers assassinated in
December 1998

Ali Abdolrezaei, poet
was born in northern
Iran in 1969. In 2003 he
had to flee Iran due to
the serious scrutiny and
censorship of his work.
As a refugee he first
lived in Paris. He has
published ten books of
poetry, and has three
forthcoming. His poetry
will be heard in English
for the first time.
